Turning heads on the show floor? We’ll turn heads in the media.
EVA is the world’s leading provider of Free Roaming Virtual Reality. Combining full-body physical movement and multiplayer gaming across up to 500m² of cable-free play space. Gamescom 2025 marked EVA’s high-profile entry into the German market, and the stakes were high: the concept needed to land instantly with journalists and creators who had seen every VR pitch before, while also resonating with mainstream audiences encountering location-based VR for the very first time.
The challenge was to cut through a crowded show floor, communicate a genuinely new kind of experience in seconds, and generate the kind of media momentum that would open doors for EVA’s next ambition: franchise growth across Germany.
A booth story that works in seconds. A media strategy built for impact.
We began by shaping a clear, press-ready narrative around EVA’s core proposition: full-body movement, real teamwork, and total immersion, without cables, without limits. On a show floor where curiosity is won fast or not at all, every touchpoint needed to communicate instantly why EVA isn’t “just VR” but a scalable arena concept built for impact, repeatability and franchising potential.
With that foundation in place, we built a targeted outreach plan focused on high-tier journalists and content creators. Combining personalised pitches, structured follow-ups and curated invitations for EVA’s gamescom launch. We managed press attendance end-to-end: from scheduling and coordinating play sessions to on-site hosting, guiding media through the experience and ensuring a smooth, memorable flow at the booth. An approach we have refined through our on-site press work for Team Vitality at IEM Cologne.
After the event, we monitored mentions and press output across all channels, turning momentum into clear, actionable reporting. Supporting EVA’s ongoing positioning and helping build the visibility needed for future franchise conversations in Germany.
Not only are these guys better than I am at any video game ever created, they've also managed to carry our communications game. GG!

Anyone who isn't working with yellow house to get help for their business, press, or communications simply doesn't know what they're doing.
Dennis "TaKe" Gehlen, TaKeTV
Literally me when I wake up in the morning and yellow house has already managed everything.
